Last-Minute Requests: Import Songs Without Typing a Word

Musician @ Bandfix

You're a wedding band. The bride runs up to you 15 minutes before the first dance. "Can you play 'At Last' by Etta James? It's my grandmother's favorite!" You know the song, but you don't know the chords exactly. You have zero time to type out lyrics and format chords in a text editor.

The Old Way: You scribble chords on a napkin. Or you hold your phone in one hand while playing, trying to read tiny text from a lyrics website that's covered in pop-up ads.

The Bandfix Way: Import from URL.

  1. Go to the Explore tab.
  2. Tap Import from the Internet.
  3. Paste the link to the song from a chord site.

Bandfix scrapes the lyrics and chords, formats them into a clean, readable chart, and adds it to your library. You're ready to play in 30 seconds.

Pro Tip: Once imported, use Instant Transposition if the original key is too high for your singer.
