Songs Library

The Songs tab contains all songs you've created or added to your library.

Adding Songs​

Initially your library is empty. You can tap on the menu button (top right corner) to add songs in one of the following ways:

Use the search bar to quickly find songs by name.

Tap the filter button (top-left corner) to open the Sort & Filter dialog, where you can combine multiple criteria to organize your library:

  • Sort by date created, date released, name, artist, key, time signature, or tempo.
  • Filter by Tags to narrow down songs using one or more tags you've assigned.
  • Filter by Artist to show only songs by specific artists.
  • Filter by Key to focus on songs in particular musical keys.
  • Filter by Time Signature to find songs with a specific time signature.
  • Filter by Tempo to select a BPM range using a slider.

When any sort or filter is active, a notification dot appears on the filter button so you always know filtering is applied. Use the Reset button inside the dialog to clear all sorting and filtering at once.

Your sort and filter preferences are saved automatically and restored when you return to the Songs tab.

Sharing Songs​

You can share songs with another band. To do that, tap on the menu button (top right corner) and follow instructions.

View a Song​

Tap on a song to open its details screen. Here you can see all information about the song, including its sections, files, and attributes.

You can also see all setlists that include this song.

From the song's menu (top right corner), you can perform several other actions:

  • Go Live: Open the song in Live Mode for easy access during rehearsals or performances.
  • Add to Setlist: Add the song to an existing setlist.
  • Refresh: Manually update the song to the latest version. This should rarely be needed as Bandfix automatically syncs changes.
  • Share: Generate a shareable link to the song for easy collaboration. It's only accessible to band members.
  • Edit: Open the song in the editor to make changes.
  • Duplicate: Create an exact copy of the song.
  • Export to PDF: Export the song as a PDF document (.pdf).
  • Delete: Permanently remove the song from your band.

Be absolutely sure before deleting a song, as this action cannot be undone.
