Managing Your Account

After successfully creating your Bandfix account, you can manage and update your profile information through the Account tab in the app.

View Account Information​

You can view your account information by navigating to the Account tab.

Your username or email is used by others to invite you to a band.

Edit Account Information​

  1. Tap on the Account tab at the bottom of the screen.
  2. From the Account tab, tap your profile photo.
  3. On the edit screen, you can update your profile picture, username, email, or name.
  4. Tap the save button (checkmark) in the top-right corner to apply changes.

You can also reset your password or permanently delete your account from this screen.

Convert Guest Account to Regular Account​

If you started with a guest account, you can convert it to a regular account from the Account screen.

  1. Tap on the Account tab at the bottom of the screen.
  2. In the guest account section, tap Sign up.
  3. Complete the sign-up flow using your preferred method.
  4. Check your email and follow the instructions to set your password.

Pro Extensions​

Pro extensions are additional features for more advanced musicians. You can check your Pro status on the Account screen. Learn more about Pro Extensions.

External Accounts​

You can link or unlink external accounts (Apple, Google, Facebook) from your Bandfix account for easier login. To do that:

  1. Tap on the Account tab at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Tap the corresponding button on the screen and follow the prompts.

Grey buttons indicate that the external account is not linked. White buttons indicate that the external account is already linked.

App Settings​

You can configure various app settings like preferred language, note naming notation, notifications, and more. You can also disable in-app tours here if you no longer want onboarding hints to appear. To do that:

  1. Tap on the Account tab at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Open menu from the top-right corner.
  3. Pick Settings from the menu.
  4. To save changes, tap the save button (checkmark) in the top-right corner.

Log Out​

To log out of your Bandfix account:

  1. Tap on the Account tab at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Open menu from the top-right corner.
  3. Pick Log Out from the menu.

Band Invites​

You can also view and respond to invites to join bands from the Account tab. Learn more about Invitations.

  1. Tap on the Account tab at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Open menu from the top-right corner.
  3. You'll see options to connect with community, contact and chat with support, submit feature requests, access video tutorials, and more.
